Choose Paeroa College and you are choosing a school that is committed to educating and inspiring life-long learners. The International Student Programme at Paeroa College began in 1999. We welcome applications from overseas students who wish to gain New Zealand Qualifications and/or who want to develop their use of the English language while experiencing our culture and lifestyle.

At Paeroa College, our international students are integrated into mainstream classes being offered at Year 9 -13 levels. In these classes, there is a strong focus on academic excellence and outstanding achievement. Our teachers tailor our learning programmes to ensure the success of all students. We also pride ourselves on providing a range of sporting and cultural opportunities, combined with an effective pastoral care programme.

Students are placed with local homestay families which are safe, comfortable, and supportive. This provides them with a wonderful opportunity to further develop their English language skills and experience the Kiwi way of life.
